After June's 17-page pricing-table overhaul, July is a breather. The "What's new in this licensing guide?" summary box on page 2 is blank for the first time since we started this series, and Appendix K's Change Log gets no new July-dated entries at all. Both editions run 89 pages.

That doesn't mean nothing changed. It means nothing changed that Microsoft considered worth logging as a licensing or entitlement update. What we found on a full page-by-page diff was a copyediting pass, plus one genuinely useful documentation change.

The one real change: Copilot Credits gets its own guide

Throughout the document, every reference to Copilot Credits, in Contact Center Digital, Contact Center Voice, Sales, and elsewhere, previously pointed to generic "Learn more" links or the guide's own internal Copilot Credits Overview section. July's edition replaces essentially all of them with a consistent pointer to a new, standalone Copilot Credits Guide, added as a new entry in Appendix J: Additional Resources.

Practical takeaway: if you've bookmarked any of the old inline Copilot Credits explanations from a previous edition of this guide, re-point to the new standalone Copilot Credits Guide instead. Microsoft is clearly centralizing that documentation going forward, and the in-guide explanations are being trimmed down to pointers rather than full explanations.

Everything else is formatting

The rest of the diff is copyediting: table of contents dot-leaders were re-rendered, a handful of double-spaces were collapsed to single spaces, and a footnote marker in the Sales entitlements table was repositioned without changing the underlying value. None of it affects how anything is licensed, priced, or entitled.

If you're mid-way through a licensing review right now, this is good news: nothing you've already documented against the June or July edition needs revisiting. We'll keep watching. The pattern so far has been one quiet month followed by a substantive one, so don't assume August stays this calm.
